 | This is where the tower of Orthanc resides. It is where everything to do with war is done. And considering everything to do with the Urukai is war..... it is very important. On the borders of the Orthanc walls is the fangorn forest. It is an even bigger forst than Lorien.

| Rivendel is a fortress for the elves. It really is not a fortress, but a haven for elves, it could stand an attack, but it is not military oriented.

| A great fortress with 30 foot walls and a humungouse gate, the gate is almost as strong as Minas Tirith, but the walls are not nearly as strong as Minas Tiriths, or Helms Deep's for that matter.
